  1. I deserve to win because I need ALL the help I can get! I live in AZ and we're planning the wedding to be in OR, as that's where we're both from and where our families are! It's proving to be very difficult because I have to do everything over the phone and internet and hope that it works out...so ANY little bit of help with the stress would be so greatly appreciated! :)

  3. I should win because I would love to have the magic of delicious goodies and memorable photography to make things so much nicer. In the last 3 years I have faced cancer, surgery twice, lost my job, went to college for a year long program, graduated with Honors and still can't find a job....I would love to win and bring something truely special, other than my sweetheart, to our wedding.

  4. I feel that I deserve to win because my Fiance and I have been together for almost 3 years now and we have been putting ourselves through college, juggling work and carrying on our relationship. Our wedding is set for early July, and I have been trying to juggle everything and planning for this wedding, but unfortunetly I just had to quit my job for my last semester of school for I am having to pull 22 credits to be able to finally graduate in the spring, because in the fall we are both moving north to a university to continue our education. So finances are going to be alot more tighter without the income, and our families are not being able to help very much also because of the ecomony. So being able to win anything would be a tremendous help as well as we would be very grateful. When my mother and I were there today and stopped by your booth everything looked just fabulous, you guys were awesome to talk to. And besides you does not like candy and chocloate! Thank you for considering me as a contestant.

  6. I want to win this because this would be a great opportunity for me to make a stand within my culture. I am Romanian and I've seen a lot of Romanian weddings in my life, but I've yet to encounter one with a an amazing candy buffet such as yours! I would love to be the first and start a new trend within my culture. It would be amazing to have this chance to stand out amongst all the other Romanian brides and it would be an amazing opportunity for your company to meet new clientele (our weddings are huge!). So please, consider me in this prize give away and thank you for your time.

    Sincerely, Alexandra Crainic (Acrainic@hotmail.com)

  7. I adore your style and uniqueness! The vintage and inspired look that you are able to create with a candy buffet is amazing. I now love this idea in the way YOU create it. I would be so honored to win this for my wedding as it is outside the budget but something I always wished for. It would help put the perfect sweet finish on the most amazing day of my life!

  8. Hi my name is Ashley Densmore and my story is a little long but very exciting for me! I met my fiance in 8th grade when I had to transfer middle schools. I was nerve to be at a new school until I met Shaun :) He was a football player and I had tried out and made the cheerleading team for that year. We had a tutoring class at the elementary school across the street together and we would walk to and from there every day and we became great friends. One day he had come up to me and asked me to be his girl friend and I said yes! We dated from 8th grade to Junior year of high school then broke up. We tried to date on and off when I was home from college but my last year of College I received a Softball Scholarship to a school in Montana and Shaun and I had lost touch durning that time. We were suppose to get together and catch up once I had got back from school but I couldn't get ahold of him AT ALL!!! I finally wrote his mom an e-mail making sure he was okay and wondering what was going on because I was starting to worry. Turns out Shaun joined the Army and was sent to basic not long after I had come home. It took me awhile to gain enough courage to write him a letter but I ended up sending one to him not knowing if I would get one in return. 2 weeks later I had received a letter back from him!!! It was so exciting and from then on we wrote letters back and forth and fell in love all over again :) Not this last December but the one before his mom told me that he was flying into Seattle for christmas so we decided to have me fly from Portland to Seattle and surprise him right when he got off the plane! That was the first time that I have seen Shaun in two years and it was magical! We spent every day together for the couple weeks he was home and we started to "offically" date again December 23rd! Last march I flew to North Carolina to visit him at Ft. Bragg and then he came home in April before moving bases to Anchorage, AK and on the 25th of April he proposed to me infront of both of our families at a big dinner :) He made me the happiest girl in the world. I get to marry my best friend and MY FIRST LOVE! I have to plan the wedding without him here because this December he was deployed to Afghanistan for his first tour. It has been a roller coaster of emotions but every time we talk we get more and more excited about our wedding when he comes home! Shaun and I both has a sweet tooth beyond explaination and a Candy buffet would represent us so well. The photography package would be a dream come true for us. We have never had our pictures taken professionally and for us to have this amazing day captured beautifully would be a gift to last a life time!!!

    Thank you,
    Ashley

  9. We saw your booth at the Portland Bridal Show today and loved your display. We decided a while ago that we wanted to have a candy buffet at our wedding since we both have really bad sweet tooths...sweet teeth?...lol. We were trying to decide how best to do this, but after seeing your table today with the variety of candies and goodies you provide and all in coordinating colors to boot, using you as a vendor is looking like a good way to go. Our story is pretty simple, we met in high school and started dating my sophomore and his junior year. We've been together for almost six years now and will be getting married this upcoming September after we finish school!!

  10. I think I deserve to win the prize because I am a student and getting married this summer. My dream has always been to go to college and become a teacher so it is very important to me to finish my college degree. I also met the perfect man that I want to marry so I will be getting married this summer before I have finished school. Since I have to pay for school I do not have a lot of money to pay for things for my wedding, so receiving a prize that would help me out at my wedding would be a major blessing. I saw your display at the bridal show and loved how beautiful your work is and would love to be able to show off something so beautiful at my wedding.

  11. There are so many wonderful stories in these entries. I won't say that I deserve to win over any of these other brides, I will just share my fiancé & mine's story. We met over six years ago when my late husband & he started working together. They became good friends, and my fiancé was a guest at my first wedding. After only two and a half years of marriage, my husband passed away unexpectedly. We were only 29. You hear about the promises that guys make to each other, "if something ever happens to me..." In the case of these two friends, they weren't empty words. My fiancé was faced with living up to a promise that every man hopes he never has to. Neither of us expected anything romantic to start out of our platonic relationship. He would call me daily to ensure I was ok, take me to a movie to get me out of the house, and stopped by every day the week I had strep, even though he knew he could get sick. As the time went on, his sweet way showed me a side of him I had never seen. I fought the feelings that were growing. I didn't think I was ready to put my heart out there. After we started dating, I felt a happiness that been missing. As our wedding date approaches, that happiness just grows. I am not only marrying a wonderful friend, I am becoming step-mom to a fabulous 13 year old girl. She is one of my bridesmaids, and attended the Bridal Show with me this past weekend. You should have seen her eyes when we walked up to your booth! I would like to add a candy buffet to bring in some fun & let her see that we are making her a part of our big day too. We have not booked a photographer yet, so that being part of the prize is simply wonderful!

  12. My "sweetie" Joe and I would love to win this prize package. This prize package is perfect for us as it symbolizes what we used to keep in touch for the first 6 months of our relationship because we lived 3,000 miles apart. Many pictures were taken and sent back and forth to keep each other up on our day to day lives. I would send him a containers of Hershey "HUGS & KISSES" with a note until I could hug and kiss you again or a batch of "COOKIES" to nibble on until he could nibble on me. :)

After a year a half finally living together he proposed and we plan to marry this year. I waited for my sweetie for a very long time and would love to win this prize to have that something extra sweet at our wedding with photos to remember the day. ♥
